Oklahoma State’s new Australian punter brought his kicking talent and his sense of humor to Stillwater.
Tom Hutton, the 29-year-old freshman, posted a video of himself on Twitter kicking footballs into the pocketed net used by quarterbacks to work on their accuracy.
“Just waiting on a couple of minor rule changes so I can join the QB race,” Hutton wrote alongside the video of him line-driving spirals into the pockets of the net.
OSU coach Mike Gundy has raved about Hutton’s talent with various styles of kicking, coming from an Aussie Rules football background.
Hutton will make his debut in American football when Oklahoma State visits Oregon State on Aug.
