STILLWATER — James Washington lined up wide right, with West Virginia cornerback Elijah Battle in his face for the coming confrontation.
With a burst off the line, Washington broke inside, hauled in a quick slant pass from Mason Rudolph and went on the attack, churning for yards. Battle finally caught up to Washington at the Mountaineers 34, but needed 10 more yards to drag him to the turf, ending a 33-yard gain.
And that was just the first of Washington's six catches, going for 117 yards, in Oklahoma State's 37-20 win. And it was just another in the junior receiver's expanding highlight-reel résumé that features so many thrills after the catch.
