Kody Cook had done this before, shifting from wide receiver to quarterback to produce an inspiring performance.
Back at community college.
Three years ago.
Now a fifth-year, former walk-on receiver for Kansas State, Cook moved back behind center Saturday when starter Joe Hubener was knocked out on the opening possession in Oklahoma State's eventual 36-34 victory. And he looked right at home, even though he hadn't thrown a pass in a game since the Salt City Bowl in 2012.
It was similar back then, too, though, as Cook threw for five touchdowns and ran for another after moving over from receiver for Hutchinson Community College.
