Mike Yurcich, Oklahoma State's offensive coordinator for the past six seasons, was officially announced as Ohio State's passing game coordinator and quarterbacks coach Wednesday.
Yurcich received a two-year deal for $950,000 annually, per an Ohio State release. He made $800,000 in his final year at Oklahoma State. His contract with the Cowboys included a $400,000 buyout if he left Oklahoma State for a non-NFL or non-collegiate head coach position.
A native of Euclid, Ohio, Yurcich joined Mike Gundy's staff ahead of the 2013 season out of Division II Shippensburg. During Yurcich's six seasons in Stillwater, OSU had four 10-win seasons, and four times, his offense’s total yardage production has ranked in OSU’s top 10 in school history.
