TULSA — Zach Middleton never pictured himself in orange.
He grew up in a household of crimson and cream. His parents are longtime Oklahoma fans. His sister graduated from OU last weekend and his brother is also on campus.
But Middleton noticed a subtle change with his father eight months ago.
Middleton, a Tulsa Kelley star football player, was taking his first unofficial visit to Oklahoma State for the annual spring game. His father, Matt, bought several OSU clothing items for himself.
The shift didn’t stop there.
