OSU football: Mike Gundy hires former K-State assistant Charlie Dickey to coach offensive line

STILLWATER — Oklahoma State coach Mike Gundy wasted no time in filling his offensive line coaching void.

Gundy posted the news on Twitter just after noon on Saturday that he had hired former Kansas State offensive line coach Charlie Dickey to replace Josh Henson, who left for Texas A&M on Friday afternoon.

“I’ve tried to hire Coach Dickey before but was unsuccessful because of his loyalty to Coach (Bill) Snyder at Kansas State,” Gundy wrote. “Coach Dickey will be here on Monday.”

Dickey is a 30-year coaching veteran, having spent the last 10 years coaching the K-State offensive line.
