STILLWATER — Texas A&M junior defensive tackle Justin Madubuike announced last week that he would skip the Texas Bowl against Oklahoma State on Dec. 27 to prepare for the NFL Draft. He led the Aggies in tackles for loss and quarterback sacks this season.
On Wednesday, after answering questions about Hubbard’s decision to play in the bowl game, Gundy was asked his thoughts on Madubuike and offered a characteristic tongue-in-cheek response.
“I thought that was a good decision on his part," Gundy said. "I thought he made a really good decision and he’s gonna be a good NFL player.
