STILLWATER — On Jan. 12, 2011, the course of Oklahoma State's football program changed forever in a single press conference.
It was less than two weeks after Brandon Weeden and Justin Blackmon led the Cowboys to a 10-win season and now they were seated at a white folding table before reporters for an announcement.
“After talking to family and a lot of friends, just kind of everybody involved,” Weeden said and grinned. “Justin Blackmon is coming back to Oklahoma State … and so am I.”
It was a choice not so unlike the one facing the OSU's current star quarterback-receiver combination.
