LUBBOCK, TEXAS — Oklahoma State offensive coordinator Mike Yurcich called a quick timeout on the postgame interviews that were about to begin.
He had something more important to do.
“Hold on, I haven't seen this guy yet,” he said, walking across the Jones Stadium tunnel outside OSU's locker room to where Marcell Ateman stood.
Yurcich needed to shake the hand of the man who saved the day.
Ateman had six catches for 114 yards, none more important than his last one, which converted a third down-and-5 on what turned out to be the Cowboys' game-winning drive.
