STILLWATER — Malcolm Rodriguez could barely jog, and he certainly couldn’t run.
Battling through a hip pointer – a bruise so deep it’s on the bone — the Oklahoma State safety spent most of the past few weeks playing at less than full speed. He made the trip to Lawrence, Kansas, but hardly played against the Jayhawks. He was limited in the Cowboys’ losses to Iowa State and Kansas State.
“It was ugly,” OSU coach Mike Gundy said Monday on his weekly radio show. “He was black and blue from the top of his hip all the way down through to the inside of his thigh.
