STILLWATER — A few years back, while his sons were going through the high school football recruiting camp circuit, Les Miles took the opportunity to visit his old home.
His sons came to one of Mike Gundy’s camps at Oklahoma State, more than a decade after Gundy had succeeded Miles as the Cowboys head coach.
That was Miles’ first chance to see Boone Pickens Stadium in its current, completed state. OSU director of football operations Mack Butler — who was around for Miles’ coaching days, too — led a full tour for Miles to see the product of what had begun during his tenure.
