Departing Oklahoma State running back Justice Hill was named the Big 12 Football Scholar-Athlete of the Year on Tuesday.
Hill, who along with OSU Cowboy back Britton Abbott was named an Academic All-American on Monday, is the first Cowboy to receive the honor, which the conference's head coaches vote on.
To be eligible, a player must be a junior or senior (Hill is a junior), have a 3.20 GPA or higher, participate in at least 20 percent of his team's contest and have been at the school for at least a year. Hill has a 3.64 GPA in his pursuit of a finance degree, per an OSU release.
