Oklahoma State will be without its tallest threat at receiver this season.
Cowboys receiver Patrick McKaufman suffered a season-ending ACL injury and will undergo surgery in the coming days, per a post on his Instagram account Thursday. McKaufman added the rehab process will take about six months.
At 6-foot-6, McKaufman, a redshirt sophomore out of Douglass High School, is the tallest player in an OSU receiving corps hoping to replace the production of James Washington, Marcell Ateman and Chris Lacy.
McKaufman redshirted last season after transferring from Northeastern Oklahoma A&M, where he underwent a transition from quarterback to receiver.
