Oklahoma State freshman linebacker Brendan Vaughn was arrested on charges of possession of a controlled dangerous substance with the intent to distribute within 2,000 feet of a school, and possession of drug paraphernalia on Saturday.
An Oklahoma State athletic department official told The Oklahoman that the school was aware of the arrest and was gathering details on the situation.
Oklahoma State police department records show Vaughn was placed under arrest at 4:27 p.m. Saturday inside his campus residence after officers responded to a report of a possible drug law violation. The story was first reported by the OSU campus newspaper, the O'Colly.
