OSU football journal: Defensive tackle Vincent Taylor declares for NFL Draft

Vincent Taylor's professional football dreams start now.

The Oklahoma State defensive tackle announced Friday in a Twitter post that he will not return for his senior season and will enter his name for the 2017 NFL Draft. Taylor — a redshirt junior who posted 51 tackles (13 for loss), seven sacks and four blocks kicks this season to earn first-team All-Big 12 honors — explained the reasoning behind his decision in a lengthy message.

“First of all, I would like to thank God for all that he has done in my life, and blessing me with the strength to play this game I truly love.
