STILLWATER — When Texas Tech punter Michael Barden flipped a fourth-down pass for a 15-yard gain against the Cowboys a few weeks ago, OSU's Zach Sinor took notice.
“I've been wanting to do a fake punt for a while now,” the Cowboys punter said. “I guess we'll have to wait and see.”
Time is running out on this season, with Saturday's Bedlam clash and a bowl game all that remains, barring a long shot leap into the College Football Playoff.
“It's kind of like with James Castleman,” said Cowboys coach Mike Gundy, referencing the defensive tackle's offensive breakout in the Cactus Bowl two years ago, “the season's not over yet.
