Oklahoma State commit DJ Jones' high school career is over.
The defensive back from Booker T. Washington in Tulsa will miss the rest of the season after dislocating his shoulder during last week's 20-3 win at Sapulpa, Jones confirmed to The Oklahoman.
“It was hard to come up with the words to say that would make him feel comfortable with the situation," Tulsa Washington coach Brad Calip told the Tulsa World, which reported that the injury will require season-ending surgery. “We just told him it was good that he has his commitment to OSU and has another chapter in his life to work forward to.
