Oklahoma State star linebacker Calvin Bundage could miss another week with his lingering back injury.
OSU coach Mike Gundy said Monday that Bundage had a setback about 10 days ago. Bundage did not travel to Oregon State last week, and his status is in doubt for Saturday’s home opener against McNeese State.
“It just depends on how he’s feeling,” Gundy said. “He’s got a back issue, and they’re hard to determine. Sometimes, guys come back quick and sometimes they don’t. It doesn’t require surgery. It’s in pain-tolerance mode, and those things are hard to measure.”
If Bundage is held out, junior Malcolm Rodriguez will again handle duties in Bundage’s spot.
