STILLWATER — Baylor transformed its program with offense, a spread attack installed by former coach Art Briles.
Briles is gone, yet the offense remains.
Interim coach Jim Grobe is rolling on with what got the Bears here, with Briles assistants still on hand to push the buttons and plenty of talent in pull it off, including quarterback Seth Russell, receiver KD Cannon and a cast of running backs.
Baylor's offense takes the spread to extremes, splitting receivers all the way to the sidelines and stretching defenses with it.
