Redshirt freshman Cowboy back Jelani Woods’ transition from quarterback keeps getting smoother.
The 6-foot-7, 251-pound Woods caught his second touchdown pass of the season in Oklahoma State's 38-35 upset of Texas last Saturday, and has surpassed 100 receiving yards for the year.
Aside from a dropped pass at Kansas State, Woods has shown himself as a viable receiving threat, and his blocking continues to improve.
“I think next year at this time, he’s going to be what I would call a really solid or good tight end/Cowboy back,” OSU coach Mike Gundy said. “He’s really young.
