OSU football: Healthy and happy, LD Brown ready for bigger role as backup running back

STILLWATER — It seems LD Brown is never not smiling.

Even as the redshirt junior running back spoke about his biggest struggles during his Oklahoma State career, he did it through a grin.

“Injuries,” said Brown, who has rushed for 385 yards and averaged more than six yards per carry in limited action the last two seasons. “That’s been a big part of my career. I’ll go out there early in the season, go for over 100 or break a big run, then the second or third game, I’ll have an injury that keeps me out a few games.
