MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Oklahoma State coach Mike Gundy acknowledged the reports that have circulated connecting his offensive coordinator, Mike Yurcich, to other major programs during the Liberty Bowl press conference on Sunday.
Gundy did not give any insight as to whether Yurcich or officials from Tennessee have reached out to him following Saturday’s report that the Volunteers have extended an offer to Yurcich to become their offensive coordinator.
The offer includes a “substantial” pay raise, according to GoPokes.com, which initially reported news of the offer.
Yurcich’s name also surfaced as a candidate for Ohio State’s offensive coordinator position Friday.
