STILLWATER — David Glidden lights up at the mere mention of Josh Cooper.
Never mind that Glidden's been facing comparisons to Cooper seemingly forever.
Heavy following-in-the-footsteps comparisons, too.
“It all started about the eighth grade,” Glidden said.
Still, it's all good, since Glidden has not only welcomed and embraced such comparisons, he's sought them, first rising into Mustang High School and then again at Oklahoma State, following right in line behind Cooper.
“Coop's a legend in Mustang,” Glidden said. “That's no lie. He's the man back in those parts. He went to a state championship game his junior year and they set all sorts of state records – passing, receiving – all those guys.
