STILLWATER — In a report that linked Mike Gundy to the head coaching vacancy at Baylor, another Oklahoma State coach is also said to have inquired about a new position.
OSU sideline reporter Robert Allen of GoPokes.com reports, "our sources tell us that Oklahoma State defensive coordinator Glenn Spencer spoke with officials at Georgia State about that school's head coaching vacancy."
Spencer was hired to coach defensive line at OSU in 2008 and then promoted to defensive coordinator in 2011. He's consistently led defenses that are among the Big 12's best in forced turnovers, 24 through 12 games this season.
