STILLWATER — Oklahoma State picked up the commitment of a talented linebacker for the 2021 recruiting class, and lost a once-promising backup running back to the transfer portal on Thursday.
Nick Martin, a linebacker from Pleasant Grove, Texas, announced his commitment to the Cowboys via Twitter on Thursday morning. The 6-foot, 195-pound Martin is labeled as an athlete by recruiting services, but is an ideal fit at linebacker for the Cowboys.
He’s the 16th commitment in the Cowboys’ 2021 class and the second linebacker, along with Edmond Santa Fe’s Collin Oliver, who is a linebacker/defensive end hybrid.
