Cary Blanchard, one of Oklahoma State's all-time kicking greats, died Tuesday at the age of 47.
Cause of death has not been revealed, but several reports on social media suggested Blanchard suffered a heart attack.
A three-time All-Big Eight selection (1988-90), Blanchard finished his collegiate career with 331 points (56 field goals and 163 PATs). He still ranks in the top five in school history in scoring, PATs made, PATs attempted, field goals made and field goals attempted. He scored 100 points in 1988, a mark that ranked 10th in the NCAA and sixth among all kickers nationally that season.
