OSU football: Five things to know about Miami Hurricanes, Cowboys' Cheez-It Bowl opponent

No. 21 Oklahoma State will face No. 18 Miami at 4:30 p.m. on Dec. 29 in the Cheez-It Bowl at Camping World Stadium in Orlando. Here are five things to know about Miami:

1. Hurricane King

Miami is quarterbacked by D’Eriq King, a graduate transfer from Houston who has been highly successful in his only season with the Hurricanes.

King completed 201 of 316 passes (63.6 percent) for 2,573 yards with 22 touchdowns and five interceptions. He was also the team’s leading rusher, accounting for 520 yards and four TDs on the ground. No other player on the team reached the 300-yard rushing mark.
