OSU Football: DTs Hold Their Own

With the loss of seniors James Castleman and Ofa Hautau, the defensive tackle spots fell into focus as an area of concern entering the season.

Vincent Taylor and Darrion Daniels combined for eight tackles, helping plug the middle in a strong effort against a Central Michigan running game limited to 2.8 yards per rush. They also helped pressure the passer, with a combined 1 1/2 sacks and 1 quarterback hurry.

“I knew Vincent could ball,” said Cowboys defensive end Emmanuel Ogbah, “so I kind of knew that he was going to do all that.
