STILLWATER — Oklahoma State defensive coordinator Jim Knowles’ halftime message was simple Saturday inside Iowa State’s Jack Trice Stadium.
The Cowboys were capable. That was proven earlier in the year against Kansas State. They just had to close out the game.
Close they did.
OSU had three interceptions in the fourth quarter during the 34-27 upset of Iowa State.
Was this the moment that turns things for the Cowboys’ defense? Is this where confidence is established?
“We already knew we had it, but we had to go out there and compete,” OSU defensive end Tyler Lacy said.
