STILLWATER — A summer of turbulence has only brought Oklahoma State’s together more than past seasons.
Nearly two months ago, star running back Chuba Hubbard said he would no longer participate in Cowboys activities after a picture emerged of coach Mike Gundy in an One America News Network T-shirt. It led to an apology from Gundy, a promise to improve things within the program and an internal investigation.
It also brought national attention to Stillwater. OSU players drew closer with the added attention.
“It kind of brought us closer together as a program, honestly,” OSU star receiver Tylan Wallace said.
