OSU football: Cowboys playbook due to expand, but how much?

STILLWATER – Way back when Rashaun Woods kept streaking unattended in a Bedlam romp, Mike Gundy sounded off as the Cowboys offensive coordinator.

“I had eight more plays I knew would work and Les (Miles) wouldn't let me run them,” Gundy said as he sprinted off the field giddily that sunny afternoon.

Fast forward to now, with Gundy the head coach and the offense operating conservatively through three games, and it's the Oklahoma State fans left wondering which plays may currently reside in lockdown and just who might be suppressing things.

These same fans thirst for more fun stuff, like defensive tackle James Castleman trading paint with defenders on runs and receptions.
