STILLWATER — Oklahoma State’s 14th consecutive bowl trip will be to Houston to face against a familiar opponent.
The Cowboys will face former Big 12 Conference counterpart Texas A&M in the Texas Bowl at 5:45 p.m. Dec. 27 at NRG Stadium, the home of the NFL’s Houston Texans.
Texas A&M finished the season with a 7-5 overall record and in seventh place in the SEC with a 4-4 conference record.
It is the second straight bowl game in which OSU faces a former Big 12 team. Last season, OSU defeated Missouri in the Liberty Bowl.
OSU and Texas A&M met annually from 1996-2011 as members of the Big 12’s South division, with OSU winning the final four meetings.
