OSU lost one Maile at defensive tackle, yet found another in a late roster addition on the eve of preseason camp.
Latu Maile, the younger brother of departed senior Mote Maile, announced via Twitter Saturday that he was joining the Cowboys in time for the upcoming season.
The move comes just days after news broke that 2017 defensive tackle signee Fua Leilua had left the program. The younger Maile fills that void, although it’s uncertain how he’ll figure into the competition up front immediately.
OSU lost Mote Maile and Vincent Taylor as starters from a year ago.
