OSU football: Cowboys defense goes from imposters in 1st half to imposing its will in 2nd half vs. K-State

STILLWATER — Oklahoma State's defense went from looking like imposters in the first half Saturday, to imposing its will in the second half.

The difference?

Simple. Really.

So the Cowboys said, after a rallying 36-34 win over Kansas State that saw the OSU defense mostly dominate the final two quarters, after surrendering 28 points to a Wildcats' offense down to its fifth-string quarterback.

“We came out, made our corrections and got the win,” said Cowboys safety Jordan Sterns.

Yeah, but what corrections? What adjustments?

What chalkboard magic?

“It wasn't major,” said defensive coordinator Glenn Spencer.
