STILLWATER — Oklahoma State’s secondary began the football season as a defensive strength and improved as the year progressed.
Looking ahead to 2020, only one of the five starters is gone, though some cornerback depth will be lost.
Here’s a look at the Oklahoma State defensive backfield heading into next season:
Season rewind: At safety, Tre Sterling emerged as a reliable playmaker. Kolby Harvell-Peel became the team’s defensive MVP. And Jarrick Bernard was one of the team’s unsung heroes.
Cornerback Rodarius Williams continued to improve, and A.J. Green was mostly avoided by opposing quarterbacks.
