STILLWATER — For the second straight day, Oklahoma State lost a true freshman to the NCAA transfer portal.
Cornerback Xavier Player entered the portal Tuesday, a source confirmed to The Oklahoman. The news was first reported by ESPN.
The 6-foot, 175-pound Player was a three-star recruit out of Cibolo (Texas) Steele High School, Player participated in one game this season, but retained his redshirt status.
He’s the fifth OSU player to enter the portal since the beginning of the season, along with tight end Grayson Boomer on Monday.
OSU has five defensive backs committed in the 2020 recruiting class, which can sign Dec.
