Chuba Hubbard shines as runner, receiver
MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — On a day when the offense wasn’t its smoothest, Oklahoma State made sure to find ways to get the ball to its Heisman Trophy contender.
In the No. 21 Cowboys’ 20-13 win over West Virginia, running back Chuba Hubbard produced 194 yards from scrimmage on 33 total touches
Hubbard had 106 rushing yards on 26 carries Saturday at Milan Puskar Stadium, a rather slight day by his standards. But he added 88 yards on seven receptions. His 46-yard catch-and-run on a screen pass set up the game’s first touchdown, a 1-yard pass to Jelani Woods.
