STILLWATER — Chuba Hubbard’s bucket-list trip to New York City will have to wait.
The nation’s leading rusher was not among the four finalists for the Heisman Trophy announced Monday night.
LSU quarterback Joe Burrow, Oklahoma quarterback Jalen Hurts and the Ohio State duo of quarterback Justin Fields and defensive end Chase Young made the list.
Hubbard, a redshirt sophomore, leads the nation in rushing yards (1,936) and all-purpose yards (2,161).
He was named the Big 12 Offensive Player of the Year, as well as a finalist for the Doak Walker Award and Walter Camp Player of the Year award.
