OSU football: Chuba Hubbard makes statement with career night

TULSA — Throughout the past week, Oklahoma State running back Chuba Hubbard was angry with himself.

A fumble a week ago cost him carries against McNeese State That meant he had little impact on the game. He certainly wasn’t going to allow that to happen again.

Ten seconds into Saturday, Hubbard had a huge impact. And it continued from there.

Hubbard had a career day with 256 rushing yards and three touchdowns on 32 carries during OSU’s 40-21 victory over Tulsa at H.A. Chapman Stadium.

“This week, I had a chip on my shoulder,” Hubbard said.
