OSU football: Chuba Hubbard is another sign that the Cowboy offense will be loaded in 2019

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — During Monday night's Liberty Bowl postgame press conference, Oklahoma State coach Mike Gundy wanted to get a smile out of his usually mellow running back Chuba Hubbard.

Eventually, during a pause in the proceedings, Gundy slid the statistical report from OSU's 38-33 win over Missouri toward Hubbard, who was seated next to his coach with an ice pack strapped to the right shoulder he injured against Oklahoma in November.

Gundy pointed to something on the stat sheet — maybe Hubbard's stellar yards-per-carry average of 8.1 — and a grin finally cracked through on the young Canadian's face.
