STILLWATER — This is a big week for Oklahoma State offensive line coach Charlie Dickey.
Not because he’s facing for the first time the Kansas State program to which he had been so loyal he turned away Mike Gundy’s multiple pursuits to bring Dickey to Stillwater.
Any emotions of facing his former team will take a backseat when the Cowboys and No. 24 Wildcats meet at 6 p.m. Saturday inside Boone Pickens Stadium on ESPN+.
“Charlie’s got his hands full trying to get our guys lined up,” Gundy joked when asked if Dickey could provide any insight into Kansas State’s group of senior offensive linemen he recruited and developed.
