MORGANTOWN, W. Va. — Will Grier launched the ball deep through the Allegheny Mountain rain, largely on target for swift receiver Ka'Raun White. Since it was OSU's A.J. Green who was stride for stride with White, you figured big play for West Virginia. That's what's been happening to Green all season. That's what happens to most young cornerbacks.
But funny thing about young corners. Sometimes they grow up. Green grew up Saturday at Milan Puskar Stadium.
Already armed with a third-quarter interception, Green jumped when White jumped, and he remembered what Mike Gundy likes to say. Take two hands and go up for the ball.
