STILLWATER — The NFL Draft came and went last weekend without an Oklahoma State player hearing his name called.
Not since 2008 has OSU gone silent in the draft. Spare a couple of free agent signings, the Cowboys were hardly on the minds of NFL folks last week.
But that’s not a sign of an inability to develop NFL talent. It’s just that all the NFL talent stayed in Stillwater. Next season, and then the 2021 draft, will prove that.
Running back Chuba Hubbard and receiver Tylan Wallace have first-round potential, and several other Cowboys will be in line to be drafted or signed as free agents afterward.
