The Oklahoma State equestrian team is coming home to meet the Southern Methodist Mustangs for a nonconference matchup at 10 a.m. Saturday.
After a loss to Baylor last week, the No. 8 Cowgirls (2-5) are hungry for a win. This is the first meet in Totusek Arena since the start of November. OSU coach Larry Sanchez is excited to be home after a “grueling” road schedule.
“There is definitely a home field advantage going in to it,” Sanchez said. “Just being at home not having to travel and sit on a bus for 6 hours, being able to sleep in your own bed at night, having a lot of orange in the stands to cheer you on and encourage you to even give a little bit more than you thought you could give, those things are all the advantages we are so much looking forward to being home.
