In some ways, it does matter how you get to 1-0, if rankings matter to you, that is. After a mostly ugly showing on offense, Oklahoma State dropped from No. 11 down to 15 in the AP Poll following its 16-7 win over Tulsa.
Oklahoma State debuted at No. 15 but climbed to 11 while inactive the week before. In the Amway Coaches poll, the Cowboys dropped from 12th to 18th for Week 3.
