No. 23 Oklahoma State squeaked out an important draw on the road against BYU, 2-2 on Thursday.
Coming off two straight home losses in which their offense struggled, the Cowgirls desperately needed something to cling on to against a formidable Cougar squad.
Xcaret Pineda gave them just that in the 32nd minute when she knocked in a header off an OSU corner to knot the match at one apiece after BYU scored in the opening minutes.
Both teams had their chances to gain an edge at various times throughout the remainder of the first half, but neither side was able to break the tie.
