Oklahoma State women’s basketball got back to its usual form of playing fast and never taking the foot off the gas pedal in Wednesday night’s commanding 93-39 win over Houston Christian at Gallagher-Iba Arena.
It all started with a 15-0 Cowgirl run that lasted 5:23 in the first quarter, which saw sophomore guard Stailee Heard make four 3-pointers. The Huskies didn’t get on the scoreboard until 4:37 left in the quarter.
Heading into the second quarter with a 28-4 lead, OSU (8-1) was not going to stop their fast-paced attack. They outscored the Huskies 25-9 and took a 53-13 lead into the locker room.
