Michigan senior defensive lineman Ondre Pipkins has one year of eligibility remaining, but it appears the former blue-chip recruit will be looking outside Ann Arbor to complete his collegiate career.
According to a report from ESPN’s Joe Schad, Pipkins claims that Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh, head athletic trainer Paul Schmidt and associate athletic director Jim Minick asked Pipkins about 10 times over a two-month period to sign a medical scholarship form that would end his career with Michigan before he wanted it to end.
After struggling through knee injuries and a couple concussions, he said he still feels he isn’t ready to call it quits yet.
