STILLWATER — After having a day to reflect and watch game tape, Oklahoma State coach Mike Gundy made sure to point out to his team what he saw as the deciding moment of OSU’s 20-13 victory at West Virginia on Saturday.
It wasn’t the defense’s clutch plays in the final minutes when West Virginia had reached the OSU 19 with a chance to tie the game.
It was the goal-line stand two quarters earlier, when West Virginia was inches shy of a touchdown and OSU stopped quarterback sneaks on two consecutive plays.
“That’s what won the game,” Gundy said in his weekly Monday press conference.
