Members of every Oklahoma State sport gathered in Gallagher-Iba Arena Monday evening as OSU student-athletes, coaches, administrators and supporters dazzled on the orange carpet at the inaugural Cowboy Choice Awards.
The event, which was put on by OSU’s Student-Athlete Advisory Committee with support from OSU Athletics, included an award show hosted by ESPN's Maria Taylor.
The NCAA champion OSU men's golf golf team, led by Viktor Hovland and Matthew Wolff, combined to take home five Cowboy Choice Awards, while former Cowgirl softball star Vanessa Shippy took home two awards, as she won Female Athlete of the Year and Female Performance of the Year.
